Being so biodiverse it offers endless things for the eco-tourist to try!

In 1998 much of the rainforest bordering the Golfo Dulce was officially declared the Piedras Blancas National Park, which includes 12,000 hectares (29,640 acres) of primary forests, as well as newly protected secondary forests and pasturelands.

There are plenty of hiking trails and tours in our national parks. Several are located nearby. Costa Rica has one of the largest national park systems in the Americas.
